Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail: Farewell Events taking place across Scotland this weekend

The conclusion of Oor Wullie’s Bucket Trail across Scotland has arrived.

Oor Wullie statues placed around the country have now been moved off the streets and are set to go on display for final time this weekend.

As reported by The Sunday Post, a series of farewell events will be taking place across the weekend in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness.

The events will be taking place in the following venues.

Dundee, Slessor Gardens

Edinburgh, St Andrew Square

Glasgow, SEC

Aberdeen, Marischal Collaege Quad

Inverness Eastgate Shopping Centre

This final farewell will be followed by a series auctions as the statues go under the hammer to raise money for different charities including the Archie Foundation, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
