Edinburgh Castle last week picked up the award for ‘Best Heritage Attraction’ at the British Travel Awards (BTAs) for the fifth time.
As reported by The Sunday Post, the Scottish attraction took the award, decided by members of the public.
In 2018, over 2 million people visited Edinburgh Castle, making Scotland’s number one paid-for visitor attraction.
The historic landmark took the award ahead of both Windsor Castle (landing in second place) and York’s Chocolate Factory.
