3. Polar Bear
Found in the Svalbard region, Polar Bears outnumber humans in this remote part of the world.
Dotted around this pretty and vast wilderness, Polar Bears are one of the world’s most instantly recognisable animals famed for their coats that appear quite white under sunlight.

4. Svalbard Reindeer
The native reindeer species found in the region, Svalbard Reindeer numbers have been helped in recent years thanks to a number of breeding programs.

5. Walrus
Often found relaxing on the beaches of Svalbard, Walrus in the region are the largest type of seal found in the Arctic Circle.
